Frequently Asked Questions

What if I already own screens?Existing screens can be repurposed to meet the minimum screen requirements for this program as long as they are at least size 55” or larger.

What if I do not own any screens? If the dealership does not have any screens located in the service or sales area, they will be required to purchase at least two with one permanently placed in each area. Turnkey hardware and installation package can be procured through the approved vendor.

I already have a screen in my service area that is used for customer wait times or other important lobby information?Existing screens that display customer wait times or other important service information are exempt and should not be converted. However, dealer will be required to purchase an additional screen that will be placed in distinct area with prominent placement.

I like to broadcast the news and or games in my showroom, can I still do that?Content for special events can still be played using the source input connection. The BrightSign Media Player will not prevent this, but it is important to note that when screens are not being utilized for a special event, they should be playing the BrightSign content. Note: BrightSign Media Players monitor activity and reporting will track sessions.

I have screens, but do not own a tablet? Please reach out to approved vendor to order one. Tablet must be programmed to display relevant content.

Can I display my own content?Yes. Dealer created content is permissible, but each dealership is required to submit their assets using the standard ACB submission process on mercedesmarketing.com.
